Fashion Model Poses Biography
Here are some general ideas on posing for the camera. During a photo shoot, the modeling photographer usually directs the model for any specific poses that the photographer is demanding to capture, but it would be easy if fashion model already knows what to do without a lot of direction.

Some General Posing Tips:
You should not hold your breath for a pose. The concentration usually shows in the picture. Don't keep both arms completely straight unless bound for to do so for a specific pose. Bend one or both arms, even if only a little, to make the pose natural. Similarly, don't keep both legs fully straight.
Rather than staring at the camera, try a variety of head and eye positions. Don't give big smiles in every pose. Don't use a big smile for every pose. Sometimes try a small smile, a glower, a laugh, a glare or even a frown, to give some variety to your facial expressions.
Get Posing Ideas:
Before going for your photo shoot, choose at least some poses you like most from fashion or glamour magazines, or poses styles you have learned from previous photo shoots. Try to take practice on each pose in front of a mirror to get confidence and be comfortable with your work.

Be focused with the position of your hands position and facial expression. Try some different ideas in your poses to make your photographs natural.
